Misplaced 03:26
I'll let the current pull me through, I don't expect a follow. All the reason seem to drain away, we gaze at seas of sorrow. The cumpose lies in pieces, it will be the sea that drags me in. With my head beneath the waves I can't say when I'll be coming up for air. Set sail across the waters, we'll pull up anchors from the depths. We'll face the boundaries that you bring forth. On the breach of every new day, each time I close these eyes, I can't help but find it missing, something's misplaced inside. I'm standing at the margin, between what's real and fake. I remember your face from somewhere, but can you help me to recall just where? Cause I'm getting the feeling, I'm getting closer to something I thought I'd lost through the years. We'll bring forth the boudaries, against what you bring forth. On the breach of every new day, each time I close these eyes, I can't help but find it missing, something's misplaced inside. I'm standing at the margin, between what's real and fake. What's real and fake. And even when the winds stop blowing, we'll make our way towards the north.

I stand in crowded rooms of emptyness. Time has come to move, time has come to leave, these streets have shed their shades. // Every time you lie, I close my eyes, hold up your hands to the fucking skies, I'll sit and wait to see the day you die. The frustration is kicking in, every time the storm blows over you seem to pull it back in again. I die every time that you try to find a way to put it back, I'll line up the things that remind me of us, there's no coming back. I'll carve in my chest, there's no coming back. Branches will not grow back once their burnt to embers, I'd love to find a way to put it back together. I die every time that you try to find a way to put it back. I'll line up the things that remind me of us, there's no coming back. There's no coming back.
3.
We're building up from broken hearts and broken homes. You take a look back to see what's left behind from the mess that you made. We don't care where you've ended up. It's so easy to fall in with the rest, nothing gained and nothing left. We don't care where you've ended up. We're all you had, and all you needed. It's so easy to fall in with the rest, nothing gained and nothing left, before we saw the curses everything seemed so perfect. It's like this every fucking night, we will watch as your empire falls. It's like this every fucking night, nowhere to go once your back's at the wall. We're building up from broken hearts and broken homes. We'll watch your useless attempt to put back all the fucking pieces. You realized too late that you had all you needed. All you need.

So here they come. So here they come again, like serpents around my legs. They try to block my view, but I refuse to follow them. I'm still breathing, I'm still breathing on. I'm still breathing. I climb these mountains every day, I've been here before. I'm still breathing. We climb these mountains every day, we've been here before. The anchors down, we won't give up, we'll carry on. The demons, they cry for consideration. I need your help, to cut the lines that bound me. I need your help. To cut the lines. I'm still breathing, I'll keep my feet firm on the ground. Still breathing. I'm breathing. Firm holds on all we've built and all that's left to build around us. Firm hopes to guide us through this world of lies. Another day, another sunrise. Don't let the candle burn out know. I'm still breathing. I climb these mountains every day, I've been here before. I'm still breathing. We climb these mountains every day, we've been here before.

Let me sink to the bottom of the ocean, I'll make myself a place to sleep next to the others. I'm getting tired of the days to come, so dig a river and come on down to join me before the sun. Let me sink to the bottom of the ocean, I'll make myself a place to sleep. A place to sleep. I'm getting tired of the days to fucking come, so dig a river and come on down. Before the sun. I'll wait for a reason to break away, before these lights start fading away. I gaze on wrecks, on wrecks as the current pull me to the depths. But I'm not going to ruin like all the rest. I'll keep it fucking alive and leave the lying in peace for the dead. Day in day out the blank faces seem to spread. I hold the key, I bear the mark, I'll ride through the open gates. And if the clouds above grow darker still, I'll find the guts to carry on. I'll hold the key, I'll bear the mark, I'll ride through the open gates. I'll wait for a reason. I'll find the guts to sail forward. To sail forward. Let me sink to the bottom of the oceans floor. I'm getting tired of day to day, so dig a river and come on down. Before the sun.

about

Versions are a hardcore band, rising from the almost dead town of Lucca.

Playing together since 2009, it didn't take them long to catch the attentions of Daniele Nelli (from the popular alternative / metalcore band Tasters, based in Livorno), who offered to produce and record "The Lights Are Fading", the band's first EP.
